GRI invests in organizations that build “recovery capital”—the social, personal, and community resources that sustain long-term recovery.
Vision: A world in which all people in early recovery have access to the supports they need to thrive.
Mission: To increase private philanthropy and public investment in science-based recovery support services, expand recovery infrastructure nationwide, and elevate recovery as a core part of the national response to substance use disorder.
